How tragic another productive life taken. Please pray for the “Gunn” family.
I love Disney movies and one of the more recent movie “FROZEN”… I simply adored!
The movie “Frozen” was about two sisters who were living in royalty.. who loved each other deeply. The older sister, Princess Elsa, possessed a power of freezing things when her emotions got the best of her…So out of isolation, she learn to be alone.. and stay out of trouble.
The younger sister Anna… wanted her sisters attention and love thrill and always allowed poor impulse control to get the best of her. The older sister didn’t know quite how to control her powers to freeze things. The younger sister wanted to things on a dare … which almost killed the younger sibling. The older sister Elsa felt terribly because it almost killed her sister. She became more and more isolated and her gift grew.
While the other who was so free-spirited and made decisions out of emotions… Couldn’t understand why her sister stayed so distant.
During her coronation the younger sister Anna, meets a prince and decides they want to get married after knowing each other “only” one day. When the older sister wouldn’t bless the marriage … Anna throws a tantrum because her sister tells her she can’t bless a hastily decision to marry a stranger , because she knew nothing about this so-called Prince Hans.
Anna begins to rant and out of anger Elsa accidentally freeze the whole kingdom by turning summer into a winter and out of embarrassment flees from her kingdom to be in more isolation.
The town now believes she is a witch and practices sorcery! Without giving away the entire story … Some set off to kill her so that they can benefit and exploit the matter with more drama to gain power!
Well in the story were two men that loved the younger sister… The first so-called Prince Hans whom they both have that same behavior to mutual attract out of emotions.
Anna then, sets out of find her sister and along the journey she meets another gentlemen Kristoff, who has an Ice Business and struggling to make ends meet. Who in turns helps her find her sister…
In the meantime when Anna finds her sister… she refuses to return to their castle and out of anger again…She accidentally hits the sister striking her in the heart …which is freezing ! And the only way to un-thaw her heart is act of love …
Its a this point Anna begin to see what “true” love is and matures. Kristoff risks it all while Prince Hans… looks out for himself. It might sound like a cute tale but it has some mature meaning!
I told the story of “Frozen” because many are wounded from situations from just life happening….
I recommend you see “Frozen”… because it captures what “true love” really is…. True love saw love and had the “faith” to take the chance. Prince Hans… did everything out of emotions and he cared about was a “kingdom” and not Anna! This movie will show you … exactly where it can all go wrong… just out of making bad decisions during emotionally lows!
Had it not been for Anna’s personal journey the marriage would have been a mistake!
What I am saying?…
The journey “opened” up her eyes. She had the wrong man! The sister that fled was protecting her and only love could heal the terrible disasters back home. Even in the midst of the family drama… danger was also awaken out of just one person, not understanding why the sister had the courage to say NO!
When it was all said and done. It was Anna that paid the price for being impulsive, full of herself, emotionally and not mature enough to understand the real love and true love!
All that feels right might not be alright… True love gets in the clenches and won’t leave you hanging off of cliffs but teach you …that you climb them together!
Personally, I came away with a lot … but more importantly… I learned that many think they are in love and many don’t know how to love. I have learned to respect the “power of love”.
I also learned this… TRUE LOVE IS THE ONE…THAT REALLY TAKES THE JOURNEY WITH YOU INSTEAD OF THE ONE THAT IS ALWAYS “PLANNING” “THE NEXT STEP TO THE JOURNEY.
