Can you believe in this day and age … there are some men who “still” have problems with women in the pulpit? I know the tricks and the games people play especially with the altar charades. I think it’s quite foolish personally.
However, if you really have a pattern and understanding of what God desires the book in which we call the bible this would be instrumental and quite directional for the people who loathe or intimidated by strong women in the pulpit.
Therefore I understand why men are the head but do they understand what it means to be the head?
To be honest when you understand why “men” are placed as “Priests and Prophets” of their houses. A woman’s fight is never with the male but he must by God’s standards to be recognized. If a man fails to meet these standards I believe it’s in this mode that God has to send someone to get the job done to restore the man… So who said that it has to be a man?
It’s really amazing that a man can bed down half a city he is then a “stud, bachelor or player”… REALLY? Because he too is a tramp, whore and might be considered a “bastard”. No, it’s not an insult it’s all in the book that many are ministering without …Called the bible.
WHORE… A prostitute …Sexually promiscuous, one who has compromised themselves for personal gain in exchange for MONEY. ( Read Revelations 17)
TRAMP…To wander aimlessly, loose morals ( 2 Timothy 4:3-4)
BASTARD…Resembling someone but not really as such, not genuine, a person who is mean and contemptible, a person born without either parent being married to each other. ( Read Deuteronomy 23:2, Hebrews 12:5-9)
Yet the double standard is…If a woman is to philander and do the same she is almost categorically called a “whore” … that’s it and that’s all. Her reputation is smeared. Now lets bring it closer to home…
When a man’s ego gets in the way of God he is considered the new American idol to the public but to God he is then called “rebellious. In the bible many fail to lead by example and seem to get around doing and being God’s word .He is then influenced to power trip even with one’s ego!
Resumes in the pulpit… who are they really for? It doesn’t exemplify that you are servant of God it merely shows just how impressive that he desires to be and steals God’s glory! Disclosing your accolades does what for God? Did you testify about all that he has done for you to get to the accolades?
I could recall my own “little” battle with “Bishops” when I desired to be one. As I matured with God I didn’t have to bull doze people and exalt myself…the power came when I humbled myself before men and God. The more I moved forward with the title of Bishop God moved on my behalf. You see, cleaning the church toilet is too much for many of these guys who say they love God most would downright insulted if one was to ask to clean a bathroom. I wouldn’t. Because I learned slowly that it was the “very” low places that God lifted me!
I am not a person who cherish the limelight because often if you are not consecrated with levels of power …. you will begin to “power trip. Many spiritually abuse power because many are small behind it. So therefore, they must be large and in charge. Power is addictive and it opens the door for more trouble than you can handle and becomes source where you might believe that you are a “legend in your own mind”. I can almost sense when very little time is “really” with God because they are in their own way!
You want to see just how many “egos” are more in charge of pulpit… Get in their way of how they must be in control! God doesn’t need cheerleaders and yet this is the ignorant concept of most ministries. If things are not done with the right heart it’s all done for nothing! The skinny on these reality shows and these pumped up leaders. There is no such reality shows that will ever show your true light. It’s all apart of the game of who is going to be powerful and popular. Since when does a man or woman on an island full of who he or she will be bed down is anyone’s reality? The lie of this reality… this isn’t called dating looking for marriage.
I have yet to see any reality star living in the present preachers or non preachers. It’s about what get the attention and holds enough to make money on what a fool believes and cherishes! The reality about being a Christian is hardly shown in church and you think a show is going to do what?
The reality is this… It’s almost hilarious but yet hypocritical in many instances. It is pumped and prime to bring others to Christ and what ministries go through but that’s so far from what is the real dirt behind this kind of cheerleading for the gospel. Yeah right!
We say one thing but promote the illegitimacies in this world. Venereal Diseases, social ills, violence and all this other nonsense stems from PRIDE… AND REMEMBER THE “I’ IS IN THE MIDDLE!
Sadly, some nurse the foolishness with ignorant choices to be successful and trying to get ahead. If they can’t do anything else the money talks and the manure runs the marathon and we know it,. The reality is most of the reality crap starts out genuine but a far cry from what is the real TRUTH!
In the same bottle pride and egos comes out of … many dine and drink on more accessories that opens the door to more dysfunction and sins!

I came across a book that I didn’t know existed, written by Coretta’s oldest sister. I know that we always celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King… but I make it my business to remember Coretta Scott King…She was more influential in the Civil Rights Movement than many might believe. She has always had a “special” place in my heart.
However, I decided that I will introduce great reads for Black History Month about the great common women and wives of the leaders during the Civil Rights Movement and those who were influential in moving Black America forward!

You want to get another review of racism and discrimination. How far have we really come? You have to wonder what kind of monsters that did such horrific things to any human being.
Slavery… is existing in other ways today!
Remembering those who suffered and died …
How we can forget this kind of evil and human suffering?
We cant afford to forget no matter who it is!

I stand to be corrected but I am a bit concerned… Is it me or does President Obama seem to have the most oddest situations to happen during his tenancy and on their watch?
Is it not also strange that everything seems to get pass everyone and then the blame game begins and then someone is either resigning or being fired quietly?
I hope that we don’t keep our “eyes” shut to all that seems to happen with this “particular” President and his administration? I have no idea what the American public don’t know but it doesn’t take a scientist to know that many continue to abandon ship and hide internal problems!
Sorry, the American people are not that blind!
In all due respect Mr. President… I honestly believe that we are dismissing too many incidences and call them coincidences. Everything isn’t a coincidence and some great conspiracy but I know something isn’t quite right either…
I sense the waters are being tested and a quite frequently here lately!
Since when do people and things seem to land at the White House… on “test runs?” It comes up suspect to me! I wouldn’t sleep on all these so called situations that have been geared to bring embarrassment or to see just how far one can go!
I know that some might not like President Obama… and he honestly has just as many “undercover” haters as he does admirers. History has a way of showing us… what can happen on someone’s lazy watches.
Drones and any other object that seems to land at his address is disturbing. It’s not proven to be a “omen” but it is showing me… the relax atmosphere of others when it comes to him and protecting him. No, You can’t give in to any fear but you better be wise!
It gives me a bad vibe and I am not going to sleep or be too afraid to write or speak…on what is becoming more and more bolder for other to do! Many might not feel that he and his family doesn’t need prayers and encouragement. I ask… What leaders doesn’t?
Evil comes in many different forms.
Often history has shown us that most betrayal comes from inside. No, everyone isn’t up for sale when it comes to Commander And Chief but everyone still isn’t sold out on a “black” President either.
You and I already know that many still believe that the world isn’t that well cultural diversified to see a man or woman of color in such power even if their educational and professional resume’s are impressive.
Yes, I do believe that many work hard at making him seems as if he has missed it and he that he is too remedial to run this country. All “white ” people are not always smart , no more than all blacks are just “dumb”.
Although, no one likes to reflect on previous administrations and their “bad” decisions. Racism is so much apart of this …which is interesting to me… It’s never really talked about but always shown.
No, I haven’t co-signed on many things that the President advocates but above all I know he still the President of the United State who is a husband and also a father… Keep him in your prayers!
Afterwards have a discussion with it’s Director Professor Bernadette Athuahene of IIT Chicago-Kent School of Law.

People don’t believe me when I say I the well-known “Tyler Perry” always send me a letter when I need one. He has his critics but I honestly believe that there is something that my spirit connects with when it comes to him. I have had some low points in my life only to get an encouraging letter from him. I know that , I know that …God uses him.
Despite all his haters and critics. Tyler Perry has a prophetic voice that many might want to ignore.
But I value the “God in him”. It’s not magic.,.. there are people you connect with whether there is no deep personal relationship but spiritually you are twin spirits. No matter if you are on the other side of the earth the person touches you.
His “wisdom” is God-given and it is insightful. He isn’t a who people want him to be but he is who God call him to be to me
My prayers have been as I season in God is to connect me “only” with the people I need to be connected with and disconnect me and prune me from others who won’t be productive for my growth. Even if it is an “enemy” I know that it is the fertilize of life that catapults me into a purpose.
Sometimes people “think” that they are divinely connected to you and they aren’t. I am very carefully of what I embrace as being apart of God and the people I embrace. I humble myself before God… because I know who makes this possible. God isn’t secondary in my life….He is first…
Often times when I am falling short… I know what I need to do. I get before God. I respect Tyler Perry because God will drop something in his spirit to write and it has “always” encouraged me and it gives me this second wind!
Oddly, I knew that the “Holy Spirit” was dealing with me about self and self worth. To make this long story …short.
Tyler Perry sent a letter explaining about his grandmother, poverty and her quilts in which he didn’t understand the value in what his grandmother stitched together with her hands. He went through the changes in his life being poor, being evicted and he shared how he lost this grandmother’s quilt moving from place to place.
It was another level in his life he valued her craft and what it stood for. Although her presence brought him great peace and joy …the value of who she was came so much later. He went somewhere and I saw a quilt like what his grandmother had given him. He wanted pay lots of money. Only to be “stopped” and told … that her history wasn’t for sale. And now the quilts that had been passed down since slavery are now worth millions! The patches and thread that represented his history. It had taken maturity and some life experiences to realize his didn’t value what he had and can’t get it back . Now he warns others….Know your worth!
My point is…When “treasures” are misplaced and misunderstood even being passed down as worthless. It will take a “special” someone or something that will value your quilt and or history. That person will have the “right eyes”, embrace and wont sell your out! I know this word isn’t for everyone but the “selective” few!
I thank God for what my “mother” left me with…Her act of being courageous and telling me and showing me character and how to be a lady at all times and knowing when to be a woman.
Some ask why every year I pitch a Tyler Perry story…No, I am not trying to get any attention, or trying get him to sponsor anything. I sincerely have a great love for Tyler Perry. He has been instrumental to me and many ways so I do value the part of him that does things that others may not know about.
Because often times we overlook how valuable people are… who “God” has placed in our lives big or small. Some grab all the attentions for themselves. Which “frankly” I don’t live for the applauds of others because that is one of the tricks of being popular. My value , my history, my self worth is more than being in the “limelight”. What I possess isn’t for sale! And it’s in the stand “persecution” is much stronger!
My mom taught me early to be thankful and to be grateful. Respect people who needs to be respected. Keep people in their proper place. I honor people who are and was instrumental of being a “thread ” or a patch of history or encouragement. It was Tyler’s Perry’s letters that often were apart of my quilt. I know what the” quilt “symbolizes in my life. The quilt to me represented that thing that kept me warm when life was cold.
I am one who has made a lot of mistakes, There is no need to cover them up with lies but I use them as stepping stones to get that push forward. That is why I such great disdain for a fake or phony. It has been the reflection of my failures that move to me to greater faith. Transparency has always been a part of my ministry. My “testimony” is so unbelievable.. but I share it even in the midst of my haters and critics. To say, it’s never what man has done… it was God allows me to be and what to say! This is what “my being” means.
I tell “God” to open my eyes…and let me value every moment he has given me and to create in me a Psalm 51 heart!
