I came across a book that I didn’t know existed, written by Coretta’s oldest sister. I know that we always celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King… but I make it my business to remember Coretta Scott King…She was more influential in the Civil Rights Movement than many might believe. She has always had a “special” place in my heart.
However, I decided that I will introduce great reads for Black History Month about the great common women and wives of the leaders during the Civil Rights Movement and those who were influential in moving Black America forward!
