There is always someone “worse” off than you …that is why I steer clear of complaining and complainers. Only in a storm you will see the worst or the best in people. Often times, some people might mean well and others are just trying to get an idea of where you’re at in the storm. Carefully, I watch my mouth, in times of distress.
These last few weeks I have had one blow after the other… Yet through it all God taught me how to stand. It’s only a TEST! God reminds me of our history. I knew in fact when it’s all said and done it was on me because I was living in the middle of a storm. I had my moment when I wanted to panic… God didn’t allow it to happen. Once your emotions die down from the blows it sometimes take you a minute to grasp the wind of God because your human flesh is all over the place at the onset of the challenge. During this warfare I had to stand on everything I have taught others and the power of intercession like never before.
Many things were on the ropes for me in more ways than one not to mention my own private pain. In the process of making some “serious” transitions and life happened.
It is in this place, I had to actually get away from the noise and those who I easily discern that they didn’t care it these were my “problems” and I knew it but the battle actually belonged to God.
When anyone’s life is hanging in the balance I can’t understand the callousness of others when anyone is going through some challenges in their lives be it sickness, finances, family matters , or any circumstance someone might be facing. Some people are detached and thank God it’s not them.
It’s also a time when you see the heart of others but it is also that time that many people might be pruned from your life. Which can hurt for a short time but God gives you the strength to move on.
As painful as all my circumstances were… I knew that God was showing me many things in order to go to that next dimension to do more in my life, ministry and that place of elevation.
What I saw in the hearts of people didn’t shock me but God showed me that I had made great choices on who I could really trust to come through for me. And they have been sticking with me from the very beginning. I had learned as a child even if no one is there …God is. This taught me to be a big girl in another way… God made me see more miracles in my own life and I saw him bring light to that dark place because my history of having a divine connection with HIM!
Never and I mean never underestimate your relationship with God and his power to air lift you to a place of safety. He will hide you even if the enemy is you!
