Trust me there is nothing more painful than to watch someone mistreat you and others stand by like “cowards” and do nothing! In ministry I would be lying to you if I can tell you how many times I have been in seat of being scorned by others and you I wanted to rise up and just smack somebody!
What add insult to injury is that they lie tell you that they care and it obvious in their actions of silence… that they don’t. Like spineless mortals that they usual are the same old insulting rebuttals that they are looking into it and waiting for the dust to settle or it gets calm. Yet, when you have been hurt, maimed, abused and some even murdered. How do you handle that kind of pain without bursting at the seams? It’s in this place you have to ask God help you to forgive them and move in a way that is pleasing to him. That is moving forward in God’s Peace!!!
But what the people fail to realize it is you that will have to deal with the weight of the scars, and situation by being the bigger person. Let’s face it… who is really trying to be the bigger person when your emotions are all over the place. There is nothing more insulting to me… is when people see “injustice” and make excuses for what and how “you” should respond.
The anger seems to bubble up every time you re live what they fail to do! It seems like people are more insensitive to your cry and pain! Sadly many of us have experienced being wronged and the person or people got away with it. You become so angry you want to spit! You must challenge that anger by standing up for what is truth not revenge!
Be careful out of emotions you can also make some bad decisions. My prayers are that all that have hurt us, abuse us, mistreated us, violated us… That they don’t go to their graves with the wrong and get it right!
Even if they don’t ever say that they have done you wrong or fail to say they sorry correctly…What I mean…Some people are too proud and prideful to say that they are sorry… so they play this around the world game to not say … I’M SORRY! Nevertheless don’t give the power of becoming bitter but better! I know it can be difficult but obtainable…
I want all of you who have experience injustice from personal hurt and pain, police brutality, inequality to racism… from Ferguson, Missouri to New York… Let’s seek justice in the proper manner. Continue to protest but within the confine of character and not recklessness. We need to declare peace even in the midst of the wrong!
Shake the dust from under your feet… forgive and ask God to heal everywhere you hurt!
LETS SHOW THE WORLD HOW WE CAN RISE EVEN WHEN OTHERS ARE TRYING TO CUT OF THE OXYGEN OF GOD… THEY CAN’T DO IT!
DECLARE PEACE!!!!!!
